Touch Graphics, Inc.creates tactile graphics that are of unparalleled quality. These books, exhibit maps, and diagrams are made to order for art museums and other organizations, include raised-line and textured representations of paintings, photographs and other visual materials. The tactile images employ a variety of effects to promote good comprehension; depth effects are achieved by varying the height of relief of raised lines, and texture fills help improve awareness of figure-ground distinctions. The pictures can also be color-printed, so that a partially-sighted
viewer can use a combination of vision and touch sense. Tactile graphics can be produced in short or long runs, and are surprisingly affordable. Please contact us for additional information, or to request a price quote.
